Yes. Carrd Pro Standard ($19/year) or higher is required to use a custom template and connect your own domain. It is one of the lowest hosting costs of any website platform.

Do I need Gumroad?

No. The buy buttons take any URL — Gumroad, Payhip, Lemon Squeezy, Amazon, or Carrd’s own Stripe payment element if you want checkout on the page.
